Berekum West District Chief Executive Congratulates Farmers
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Berekum West District Assembly, Hon. Collins Asoma (Colley), has extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to all farmers in the district for their tireless efforts and invaluable contributions to food security and national development.
In his message, Hon. Asoma commended farmers for their resilience, dedication, and hard work throughout the year, noting that their sacrifices continue to sustain households, drive the local economy, and support the government’s “Eat Ghana, Feed Ghana, Secure the Future” agenda.

He emphasized that agriculture remains the backbone of the district’s development and assured farmers of the Assembly’s commitment to providing the necessary support, including improved access to inputs, extension services, and programs that enhance productivity.
The MCE further encouraged farmers to adopt modern farming practices and innovations to increase yields and ensure sustainability. He also called on the wider community to recognize and celebrate the vital role farmers play in building a healthier and more prosperous society.

This congratulatory message follows the successful 41st National Farmers Day Celebration held in the district, where 21 hardworking farmers were honored for their outstanding contributions.
