Bono Regional Minister Pays Working Visit to Berekum West District
The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Lawyer Joseph Addae Akwaboa, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, paid a working visit to the Berekum West District as part of his regional monitoring and engagement duties.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Minister to interact with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Collins Asoma, Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, and community leaders on key developmental issues. Discussions centered on infrastructure, education, health, and security, with emphasis on strategies to accelerate socio-economic growth in the district.

Hon. Akwaboa commended the District Assembly for its ongoing initiatives in road construction, sanitation, and public health sensitization. He encouraged the leadership to continue prioritizing projects that directly impact the lives of residents, while assuring them of the Regional Coordinating Council’s support.
During the visit, the Minister also engaged with staff of the Assembly, urging them to uphold professionalism, transparency, and efficiency in service delivery. He emphasized that effective collaboration between the Regional Coordinating Council and District Assemblies is essential for achieving the government’s vision of inclusive development.
